Dr. Niyati Balse

Dr. Niyati is a passionate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a specialization in Dental Implantology as well as Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery. After completing her graduation from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, she went on to pursue MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery- the sought- a branch of Dentistry from the prestigious KLE University, Belgavi, Karnataka. During post-graduation, she got a chance to assist and learn from some of the best Maxillofacial and Plastic surgeons in the country. As a visiting trainee, she had the opportunity to work as a junior resident at GSR Institute (Hyderabad Cleft society) for a month. She also worked as a junior resident in the Department of Plastic surgery (where she closely worked with Cleft Lip and Palate patients) and the Department of Neurosurgery.

Having completed her post-graduation, she joined as an observer at ‘Swiss Cleft Centre’, Mumbai during which she was selected for the fellowship program of Cleft Children International, Switzerland. This was a ‘break-through’ opportunity for her to learn more about Cleft Lip and Palate patients and upgrade her skills.

There has been no looking back ever since. For the last five years, Dr. Niyati has been visiting various hospitals and private clinics in Mumbai as a Consultant. ‘Dr. Balses’s Centre for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a setup where she intends to provide the best possible treatment to anyone who needs to address dental or maxillofacial conditions.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Dr. Niyati has been a visiting consultant in numerous private clinics and hospitals in and around Mumbai

-BSES MG Hospital, Andheri West

-KJ Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre, Sion East.

-Organized and participated in various health camps and awareness rallies.
